Please call Clay Baldwin or Scott Baldwin if you will be unable to shoot one week. Failure to notify one of the two league managers the week of will result in a posted 15 point loss to your previous week's score with no change in handicap. Two missed weeks with failure to notify will result in disqualification.
We encourage you to shoot the week before a missed week if at all possible. Should you have to miss a week and a league manager has been notified, you will have 1 week to make up your score.
Rules
- After week 2 each participant will be assigned a team based on handicap. All teams will be divided as to create near-equal ability teams.
- Before scoring, a shooter must declare that they will be shooting a round for score. Once declared, a shooter may not stop the round unless there is an equipment malfunction.
- Each scored round must be witnessed. Please shoot scoring rounds with others if possible.
- If you are the last person to leave for the night please ensure the lights are off and the heat has been turned off.
- Non-member participants will only be allowed to shoot ONE night per week (only indoors. No outdoor shooting for non-members). Please ask a fellow member if you are interested in joining Keowee Bowmen.
- If you were disqualified in last year's league, you will be considered an alternate shooter in this year's league. Meaning: you can participate but you're not guaranteed to be placed on a team.
Scoring
- Each round consists of 3 games of 120 possible points, totaling 360.
- 2 teams will compete against each other each week. Your team will compete against a different team each week in a rotating schedule.
- Points system:
- Win = 2 points per game
- Tie = 1 point per game
- Loss = 0 points per game
3-game sweep = +1 point
7 total points possible
Handicap System
